You can find us over at 140 Chinchpokli West, right on the 1st Main and 4th Cross. It’s a quiet enough corner compared to the main roads, but we stay pretty busy with our work. The space is always smelling like fresh paint and wood shavings because there’s always a project going on. We do a lot of different things here, mostly focusing on art pieces and frames that people bring in. The floor is usually covered in little bits of scrap and droplets of color that we haven't scrubbed off yet. It’s an old building, so the walls have some cracks, but it gives the place some character. We’ve been here for quite a while now and we know the regulars who walk their dogs past our door every morning. Sometimes we just sit on the front step when the light is good and wait for the next delivery. It isn't a high-end gallery with velvet ropes; it's a working shop where we get our hands messy. People bring us things that mean a lot to them, and we take our time with them. The fans overhead hum all day long to keep the air moving, which is nice when the humidity gets high. We don't have a big sign out front, just the name and the work we do. It’s a simple life, focused on making things look right and keeping the craft going in our little part of Chinchpokli.
