Manali Arts

Manali Arts is located on Plot No 286 along Jawahar Road in Ghatkopar East. We are quite close to the New Anand Society, which is a big residential area. Because of that, we get a lot of neighbors coming by. The shop isn't on a huge main highway, so it feels a little more like a community spot. We have a lot of shelves filled with different items, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what you are looking for because we tend to tuck things away in corners. We are usually here from the morning until late evening. The routine is pretty much the same every day—open up, dust everything off, and wait for the first customers to arrive. We don't really have a big marketing plan or a fancy brand. We just have our name on the board outside. Sometimes the rain gets a bit heavy and we have to move some of the items away from the entrance, but mostly it is just a quiet, steady kind of business. We like the people in Ghatkopar; they are straightforward and don't expect anything over the top. We just try to be helpful when someone asks for something. It’s a modest place, and we are happy with that. There’s always a bit of tea being made in the back, and the smell of it usually fills the shop around four o'clock.
