We are over here in Mahalaxmi at the Nirman Kendra building. If you go to the sixth floor, units 602 and 603, that’s where Inter Foto India Pvt. Ltd. is set up. It’s a bit of a walk from the station but not too bad once you get used to it. We deal with cameras and photography gear, which has been our life for years. The office is usually filled with boxes and pieces of equipment waiting to be checked or sent out. Mahalaxmi is a great area because it’s central, even if the traffic on Dr. E-Moses Road is a nightmare in the evenings. We started this because we liked the tech side of photos. Now it’s more about managing the supply chain and talking to photographers who need specific parts. We aren't some massive corporation with a glass building. We are just a group of people who know how these machines work. Sometimes the lights in the hallway flicker, and the elevators are slow, but the work gets done. We handle things for professional studios and also people who just do it as a hobby. It’s interesting to see how the gear has changed over the years. We keep a lot of stuff in stock so people don't have to wait for weeks. It’s a bit cluttered in the back room, but we know where everything is. That’s just how we operate every day.
