Madness

We are tucked away in Khar West at building 757 on Bhattipada Road, over in Keshavji Nagar. The name Madness might sound a bit much, but it’s just what we decided to call our little place. It’s a quiet enough street most of the time, which we actually like. We spend most of our hours inside this building just getting things ready. It’s not a big corporate setup. It’s just us, a few chairs, and the work we do every day. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy to pull people in from the main road. Most people find us because they live nearby or someone told them about us while waiting for the bus. We’ve had to fix the plumbing a few times and the walls could probably use some new paint, but it feels like home to us. We don't use any complicated systems to run things. We just keep a simple ledger and try to be honest with everyone who walks in. It’s a lot of work to keep a small business going in Khar, but we manage. We aren't trying to be the most popular spot in the city. We just want to do a good job for the folks in Keshavji Nagar who stop by. It’s a basic operation, run by people who actually care about what they’re doing. We’re usually here late, making sure everything is shut down properly for the night. Sometimes we just sit outside for a minute to breathe the air before going home.
