Hype

Hype is located right on Worli West Main Road at R1. It is a busy corner, and that’s putting it lightly. Much of our time is spent just keeping the day-to-day operations moving along. Being on the Main Road means something is always happening right outside the front door. We see the traffic jams and the people running for buses all day long. Inside the shop, things feel a bit different. We just focus on getting the work done. There is no secret formula for how we run Hype. We show up, open the doors, and start the day. Sometimes the place is quiet, but usually, it stays pretty active. Over the years, we have gotten to know the other shop owners around R1. It feels like a small community even in this loud part of the city. Since our staff is small, everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. You might see the same person answering the phone and then cleaning up later. It is honest work. The building at R1 has its own quirks, like a front door that sticks in the heat. We have grown used to how the afternoon light hits the counter. Worli West moves fast, but we try to maintain our own pace. This is just how life goes for us here at Hype. We’ll be here tomorrow morning too, ready to start all over again.
