Geoffreys is right there at Church Gate, number 29 on Marine Drive. It’s a famous stretch of road, probably one of the most well-known spots in the whole city. We’ve been here for a long time, watching the sea and the people walking along the promenade. The place has a bit of an old-school vibe to it. It’s wood and dim lights and a lot of history. We aren't a modern lounge with flashing lights or loud electronic music. It’s more of a place where you can actually hear yourself think or have a proper chat with someone. We get a mix of everyone here. Some people come in after work to wind down, and others are just tourists who happened to see the sign while walking by the water. It’s a steady kind of business. We don't do a lot of shouting about how great we are. We just focus on keeping the place clean and making sure the food and drinks are what people expect. Sometimes the rain hits the windows hard during monsoon, and it feels like the best place to be in the city. We have our regulars who have their favorite seats, and we try to keep things consistent for them. It’s just a solid, old-fashioned spot near the ocean. We’re just happy to be a part of the Marine Drive landscape.
