Madanlal Gupta Foundation

We are located on the second floor of the Vikas Centre. If you are familiar with S V Road in Santacruz West, you know it is a very busy area. Our office is at 106, right in the middle of all the noise and traffic of Mumbai. It is not a very large space, but it serves its purpose for the Madanlal Gupta Foundation. We have been here for some time now. The building is an older one, so the lift sometimes takes a minute, but it usually works for us. We spend our days mostly handling the daily tasks that come up. It is mostly just desk work and meeting people who come through the door. We don't use any fancy systems or have a lobby with a receptionist. Usually, one of us just looks up from a desk when someone walks in. Working in Santacruz means there is always something going on outside. The sounds of the street come up through the windows even on the second floor. We are just a small team trying to keep things moving. There is always a stack of papers on the table and the chai comes from the stall downstairs. It is a practical way to work. We didn't want a big polished image because that isn't who we are. We are just here in Vikas Centre, doing what we can. If you find yourself on S V Road, you can find us there.
