M S Maniar Impex is located at 505 Chikoo Wadi in Masjid Bunder West. Being in Chikoo Wadi means we’re surrounded by other businesses just like ours, all trying to make a living in this crowded city. Our space at 505 is where we spend most of our waking hours. It’s not a large area, so we have to be smart about how we stack our boxes and where we put the desks. The atmosphere in Masjid Bunder is always intense, with so much trade going on all around us. We’ve been here long enough to know the rhythms of the street—when the deliveries come, when the traffic peaks, and when it’s finally time to close up. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. It’s just a regular workplace with regular people. We don't have a marketing team or a fancy reception desk. Usually, you’ll just find one of us sitting there working on the accounts or checking the inventory. The air is always a bit dusty from all the movement outside, and there’s always a conversation going on somewhere nearby. It’s a lived-in kind of place. We value the fact that we’ve stayed at this address and kept things going. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours, but that’s the reality of being in Chikoo Wadi. We just take it one day at a time at 505.
