Anmol Photography

You can find us over at 47 Spark Studio on N.M. Joshi Marg in Lower Parel. The studio is right in the middle of Shivaji Nagar. It’s a very busy part of Mumbai, and there is always a lot of movement on the streets outside. Anmol Photography has been in this area for some time. Inside the studio, it’s a different world from the noisy road. We have our lights set up and backdrops hanging from the walls. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of gear out, but we make it work. N.M. Joshi Marg is famous for its old buildings and the history of the mills, and you can still feel that vibe around here. We spend a lot of time looking through lenses and editing on our screens. Sometimes the power fluctuates, which is a bit of a headache, but we’ve learned to deal with it. The studio isn't very large, so we have to be careful not to trip over cables when we are moving around. We drink way too much coffee from the shop downstairs just to stay focused during long shoots. It’s a lot of hard work and staying on your feet all day, but we enjoy the process of capturing things. We aren't interested in being a big corporate studio with lots of assistants. We just like our little corner in Lower Parel where we can focus on our cameras and the shots we need to take.
