Lingam Fine Arts

I spend most of my days here at C-221 in Ghatkopar West. It’s right behind R City Mall, which gets quite busy, but our spot stays a bit quieter. Lingam Fine Arts is where we keep all the supplies and finished pieces. Most people find us because they live nearby or they're looking for something specific for their homes. I started this because I just liked working with my hands and seeing what people create. The shop isn't fancy at all. There are stacks of things everywhere and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what you need. We’ve been in this part of Mumbai for a while now. It’s a good neighborhood, even with all the traffic near the mall. My morning usually starts with opening up the heavy shutters and dusting off the frames. It gets dusty fast around here. People come in asking for advice on colors or just to look around. I don’t try to push anything on anyone. If you like something, you take it. If not, that’s fine too. I like the smell of the paints and the wood. It feels like a real workplace, not some glossy showroom. Sometimes I’m here late finishing up a project while the city noise carries on outside. It’s just how we do things. We don't have a big team or anything, just us making sure the work gets done right. If you’re walking behind the mall, you’ll see our sign. It's nothing special but it's home for us.
