Liberty Arts

If you are walking down S V Road in Kandivali, you probably know how loud it gets near the Shoppers Stop. Our shop, Liberty Arts, is just across from there at number 27/C. We are quite close to Majithia Nagar too. It is a lively spot to spend your day. Most of the time, the shop is full of the smell of materials and whatever we are working on that week. It is a narrow shop, but we have high ceilings, so we stack things all the way up. I have spent many years in this neighborhood. I remember when there were fewer buildings and more trees, but now it is all concrete and shops. We deal with art and creative things, but it is more of a practical business than a gallery. We have some regular customers who have been coming to us since we first opened. Sometimes we just sit and talk about the old days while the traffic crawls by outside. The afternoon sun hits the front window pretty hard, so we have to keep the shade down for a few hours. It is just a small place run by people who live nearby. We don't have any fancy displays or a website that looks professional. It is just a shop on a busy road where we do our best to stay busy and keep things moving along. There is always something that needs sorting or a new order to put together.
