You can find us over in Oshiwara at the Vaibhav Palace building. We’re on the fifth floor, room 503/A. It’s right near Maga Mall, which makes it easy to explain to people who are trying to find the place for the first time. The New Link Road is always packed with cars and the noise reaches us even up on the fifth floor. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, that’s for sure. We’ve got a small space where we handle all our social work stuff at Plot No. R-11. It’s nothing fancy, just a few tables and some old filing cabinets. Sometimes the elevator is slow, so we take the stairs if we’re in a hurry. Our team is just a few local people who wanted to do something useful. We don’t have any big speeches or anything like that. We just show up and see what needs doing that day. The neighborhood has changed a lot over the years, but we’ve stayed put in the 400102 area. It’s a good spot because we are close to everyone. Most days, we are just sorting through things or talking to folks from the community. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at once, but we make it work. It feels like a real community hub most of the time. We just keep it simple and stay busy.
