Kavita B Popat

I am Kavita B Popat and this is where I spend most of my days. My office is up in B-405, right on M G Road, which is always busy with people and cars going by. If you know the area, it is near the Hotel Rajwada Road in Dahanukar Wadi. It is not a very big place, just a simple office room where I keep my files and do my work. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so I end up taking the stairs which is good for my legs anyway. I’ve been here for a long time now. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but I like it the way it is. It feels like home after all these years. Usually, I start my morning with a cup of tea and look out the window at the traffic below. There is a lot of noise from the street, but you get used to it after a week or two. I mostly handle my own things here and keep the paperwork organized. It gets a bit dusty because of the road outside, so I spend some time cleaning the desk every morning. It is a quiet kind of life inside the office even if it is loud outside. I don't have a big staff or anything, just me and occasionally someone to help with the heavy lifting or errands. That is pretty much it.
