You can find Karwaan Yogdhaanm Foundation at Kedia House in Kalbadevi. We’re on the ground floor at 1A, tucked into Khattar 1st Gully. If you know South Mumbai, you know how these gullies can be—narrow, busy, and full of life. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes, but being at 57/A in Thakurdwar puts us right in the thick of it. The office itself is pretty basic. We have a few desks, some chairs, and a lot of folders stacked up against the walls. It’s the kind of place where you have to move a stack of papers just to find a spot for your coffee mug in the morning. We don’t do things in a flashy way. We just show up every morning and get through the list of things that need doing. There’s always someone coming or going because Kalbadevi never really sleeps. It’s noisy and crowded outside, but we’ve gotten used to the sound of carts and people shouting to each other. We don’t have a big corporate structure or any fancy titles. It’s just a small group of us who handle the day-to-day operations. We don't use big words or have complicated processes. If something needs fixing, we fix it. If a letter needs writing, we write it. It’s a very manual, hands-on way of working. We’ve been in this ground floor spot for a while now and it’s become our second home. It’s not perfect, but it’s where we work every single day in South Mumbai.
