Kartavyabodhi Foundation

Kartavyabodhi Foundation is located in Siyal House, over on D P Marg in Fanaswadi. We are on the second floor, in room 202. If you know South Mumbai, you know how these old buildings are. Siyal House has been there for ages, and it has got that specific character you only find in this part of town. The stairs can be a bit of a climb, but it is good exercise, I suppose. Fanaswadi is a busy, crowded place with a lot of history packed into every street. We chose this spot because it is right in the thick of things. Our office isn't anything to brag about. It has got a few desks, some old filing cabinets, and a window that looks out over the street below. You can hear the sounds of the city all day long—the horns, the shouting, the bells from nearby temples. It is a lot, but we are used to it. We are not a big corporate entity. It is just us, working on our projects and trying to stay organized. Sometimes we have to move stuff around just to make room for a few visitors. We do not use fancy jargon or have big meetings in glass rooms. We just sit together, figure out what needs to be done, and then we go out and do it. It is a practical way of living and working. Being in Fanaswadi keeps us grounded because you see the real city every time you step out the door.
