J. K. Buildcon

We are based out of Ekta Terrace, specifically B-505/505, in Mahavir Nagar. It's a lively part of Kandivali West, right by Kapul Nidhi School. You can always hear the kids playing or the school bell ringing from our office window. J. K. Buildcon handles construction and small building projects around this part of town. The office is up on the fifth floor. It’s not very big and it’s usually filled with rolls of blueprints and samples of floor tiles. We’ve been operating from here for several years. Most of our customers are just people from the neighborhood who heard about us from a friend. We don't really bother with big advertisements. We’re usually out at the sites making sure the masons are doing their bit or checking the plumbing lines. Sometimes there are delays with the materials or the weather doesn't cooperate, which can be frustrating. My desk is always cluttered with bits of stone and marble samples. I try to keep a diary of all the work we have going on, but I often forget where I put my pen. People just drop by the office to talk about their home renovations. We give them a straight answer about what can be done and how much it might cost. It’s a practical business and we take it one day at a time. The work is steady and that is enough for us.
