Kamaal Amrohi Foundation

Our office is located at 801 Rocky Hill on Sherly Rajan Road in Bandra West. It is right across from the N R Cl, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us. This part of Mumbai, the 400050 area, is always buzzing with some kind of activity. We run the Kamaal Amrohi Foundation from this space. It is a decent-sized room with a view of the surrounding neighborhood. We are not a big corporate entity with hundreds of employees. It is just a small group of us who have been working together for a long time now. We do not have any scripted speeches or polished mission statements hanging on the walls. Instead, we have a lot of old photos and stacks of paper that need our attention. The building is a bit older, so the elevator can be a little slow sometimes, but we do not mind the wait. It gives us a chance to chat with the neighbors. We try to keep things as straightforward as possible in our daily routine. There is no need for fancy titles or complicated hierarchies here. We just know what needs to be done and we do it. Working in Bandra is nice because everything you need is close by. We often walk down the road to grab lunch or pick up supplies. It is a very grounded way to spend the day.
