Kala Vishkar

Kala Vishkar is located over in Charkop Village in Kandivali West. We spend our days at Matruchhaya, which is inside the Namdeo Kini Mansion. It is right across from the Mihar Apartment building on M.G. Road. The street is usually pretty busy with people going to work or running errands. Our space isn't very large, but it serves us well for what we need to do. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, especially during the morning rush. We have been in this spot for a long time now. The building has that old charm, though the paint is peeling a bit in the corners. We don't mind it much. It feels like a real place where work happens. Most of the neighbors know us by now. We don't have a fancy lobby or a big sign. Just the name on the door. It’s a simple walk from the main road. We keep the inside organized enough to find what we need. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the front window when it pours hard, but we just put a bucket there. It’s just how things go. We like being part of the village atmosphere. It’s got a different feel than the rest of Kandivali. We just come in, do our bits of work, and head home when the sun goes down. It is a practical life here at the mansion.
