Jyoti Foundation

Jyoti Foundation is in the Fort area of Mumbai. Our office is in the Buona Casa Building, specifically on the 3rd floor, Room 7. Fort is such a historic part of the city. Everything here is old and made of stone. Homji Circle is right outside. It gets really busy during the day with all the office workers and street vendors. Our building has those old-fashioned high ceilings and thick walls. It is a bit of a climb if the lift is slow, which happens sometimes. Inside, it is just a regular office setup. We have some wooden desks and a lot of files piled up. Working in South Mumbai means you are right in the middle of everything. We handle different foundation tasks from here. It is not a fancy corporate suite. It is more like a lived-in space where people actually work. You can hear the city noise from the windows—horns honking and people shouting. We have been at Buona Casa for a while. It is a good location because it is close to the stations. Most of us take the train into CST or Churchgate and then walk over. It is a bit of a trek in the rain, but that is Mumbai for you. We don't have any marketing people or big logos. We just focus on the projects we have at hand and keep things moving.
