Jyeshtha Arts

Jyeshtha Arts is located on P L Lokhande Marg in Chembur West. We are pretty close to the Raju Commercial Complex, which is how most people find their way to us. Being in Chembur, you get used to the noise and the constant flow of people. Our place is basically where we handle all the art-related jobs that come our way. It’s not a polished gallery or anything like that. It’s more of a workspace where things are constantly being moved around. We have tools and materials scattered on the benches most of the time. The lighting isn't the best, but we know where everything is. We spend our days mostly working on whatever orders came in yesterday. It’s a lot of standing and measuring things out. Sometimes we sit out front when it's quiet, but that doesn't happen often on this road. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but we’ve stayed right here. It’s a straightforward operation. No big speeches or complicated processes. We just take the work as it comes and try to stay organized, even if the desk looks like a mess to anyone else. It’s a local spot and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and focus on the tasks at hand until it’s time to close up. There is always something to do, so we just keep at it day by day.
