Just Art

You can find us at 330, Adarsh Nagar, right on the Link Road in Andheri West. It is a loud, busy part of the city, but we like the energy. Just Art started because we wanted a place to handle creative projects without all the corporate stuff. Our space isn't like those clean, white galleries you see in magazines. We have paint stains on the floor and piles of materials in the corners. It is a real working space. We spend our days framing, sketching, or just figuring out how to make something look right. The traffic outside never stops, but once you’re inside, we just focus on the task at hand. We don't have a big mission statement. We just like art and we like working with our hands. A lot of our neighbors drop by just to say hello or see what we are currently working on. We don't spend money on fancy ads. We figure if the work is okay, people will come back. Sometimes we stay late when a project is going well, and other times we close early if things are slow. It’s a flexible way to live. We’re just a small group of people doing what we enjoy in a crowded corner of Andheri. It’s not perfect, but it’s ours and we’re happy with that.
