Jito Mumbai Goregaon Chapter Foundation

We are over at 102, Abhilasha Building. It’s on L T Road, specifically in Punjabi Lane if you know Borivali West. Most of us here have been around this area for a long time. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place where we get the work done for the Jito Mumbai Goregaon Chapter Foundation. Even though we are in Borivali, we handle things for the Goregaon side of things. It gets pretty crowded on the lane during the afternoons. There is a small tea stall just outside where we usually go when we need a break. The building itself has seen better days, but it’s sturdy. We have some old desks and a couple of computers that sometimes act up. It’s mostly just us sitting around and talking through what needs to be finished for the week. Sometimes people from the neighborhood stop by just to say hello or ask what we are up to. We try to keep things organized but with the papers everywhere, it’s a bit of a struggle. The morning sun hits the windows right around ten, and it gets quite warm until we turn the fans on. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a big reception or anything like that. You just walk in and someone will be there to talk to you. We've stayed in this spot because it's easy for people to find us once they know where Punjabi Lane is. It’s home for us now.
