Jeet Art

Jeet Art is located on Plot No 286 along Jawahar Road in Ghatkopar East. We are easy to find because we are right near Noble Mens Wear. The shop isn't very large, but we managed to pack a lot of stuff into it over the years. We started this because we wanted a place to work on our art and maybe sell a few things to the people in the neighborhood who appreciate it. It is a fairly quiet street compared to some other parts of Mumbai, which is nice when you are trying to focus on creative work. We have brushes, paints, and finished pieces all over the place. It can look like a bit of a mess to an outsider, but we know where everything is kept. We don't have a big staff, it is usually just one or two of us here during the day. We spend our days sketching or talking to customers about what they are looking for. Sometimes we get people who just want to look around and see what is new, and that is fine too. We aren't trying to be a big fancy gallery. We just want to make things that people like to have in their homes. The lighting in the shop is okay, though we wish we had more windows for natural light. We've been here long enough that we know most of the shopkeepers on this block. It is a nice community to be a part of, and we just keep doing our thing day by day.
