We are down in the Kokari Agar area, specifically at F-52/7 on the ground floor. It is part of the transit camp along the Truck Terminal Road, right by the new 90 Feet Road in Antop Hill. If you have ever been to this part of Mumbai, you know it is always moving. There are trucks and tempos constantly going back and forth because of the terminal being so close. It can be a bit loud with all the horns and engines, but you get used to the sound after a few days. Our office is on the ground floor which makes it easy to step inside right off the street. We don’t have any stairs to climb, which is a relief when the weather is humid. The space inside is quite basic. We have some posters on the wall and a few chairs that don't quite match each other. The floor is easy to sweep out, which we have to do often because of all the dust from the 90 Feet Road traffic. It’s a busy neighborhood and there is always someone walking by the window. We like being in the middle of it all in Antop Hill. It feels like we are right where the action is. It’s not a quiet place for a nap, but it is a great place to stay awake and get things moving. We’ve been in this transit camp spot for a while. It’s got a bit of history to it.
