I work out of Powai, in the Bhavani Towers. My place is B/1203, which is up in Jai Bhavani Nagar. It’s a nice enough area, right opposite the main gate of IIT. You can see the students and staff coming and going all day long from the windows. I started this business on my own, and it’s mostly just me handling things from this room. It’s a residential building, so it feels a lot more like a home than a stiff office. I have my desk set up near the balcony where there’s a bit of a breeze. People sometimes find it a bit tricky to navigate Paud Road if they aren't from around here, but once you see the IIT gate, you know you’re close. I don't have a big team or a receptionist. If the phone rings, I’m the one picking it up. It’s a very personal way to do things, I suppose. I handle a variety of tasks depending on what my clients need that week. The building has a lot of families, so there's always the sound of life in the hallways. It’s a quiet spot to focus compared to the main road outside. I’ve been here for a while and don't see myself moving the office anytime soon. It’s comfortable and it works for my pace of life. I’ve lived in Powai for years, so setting up my workspace in Bhavani Towers felt right. The Jai Bhavani Nagar area has a lot of character. I don't really have a big sign outside or anything like that.
