Jai Ambe Arts

Jai Ambe Arts is right here at 81/A in Borivali East on Maharshi Karve Road. We have been around for quite a while now and most people know where we are because of the Churchgate connection nearby. The shop isn't fancy or anything like that, just a place where we do our work every day. You can usually find us surrounded by frames and different types of art materials scattered around the floor. It gets a bit crowded when we have a lot of orders coming in but that is just how it goes for us. My father started this and now we just keep it running. Sometimes the traffic outside on the road is really loud so you have to speak up when you come inside to talk to us. We mostly deal with people from the neighborhood who need something framed or want to look at some local art. It is a simple setup with old wooden tables and some fans that have seen better days. We don't really have a big staff, just a couple of us who know the craft and spend our mornings getting things ready. Usually we are open by ten but sometimes if the commute is bad we might be a few minutes late. It’s just a regular local spot where we focus on the task at hand. People drop by to chat as much as they do to buy things. That is the way it has always been here on Maharshi Karve Road.
