Finding us isn’t too hard if you know Masjid Bunder West. We are on the first floor of the building on Mirza Street, specifically Room No 2/A. The whole area around the Mumba Devi Temple is always packed with people, especially on special days. It is one of those old Mumbai neighborhoods where everything is narrow and crowded but has its own life. Being in the 3rd Block on 50th Cross means we hear the sounds of the market all day. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep, but you get used to them after a few trips. We spend our days here dealing with whatever comes up. It’s an old building, so things have that worn-in feel. We don't have a big corporate team, it's just a few of us making sure things get done right. The morning starts with the temple bells in the distance and the shops downstairs opening up their wooden doors. Most of the time, the desk is piled with papers and we are trying to stay organized in the small space. It’s not the quietest place to work, but there is a lot of energy in this part of town. We’ve been part of this block for a long time, and we know the other shopkeepers around here. It’s just a normal day-to-day life for us in this corner of the city. We keep the doors open and just get on with it.
