Irdm Health Foundation

We set up Irdm Health Foundation at Gat No 15 in Wadhu Khurd. It is near Fulgao in the Haveli area of Pune. Being a bit away from the city center means it is quieter, which is nice for the kind of health work we do. Our building is simple and practical. We do not have marble floors or expensive art. We have medical supplies, some files, and a few people who know how to help. We spend our days coordinating with local families and making sure people get the health information they need. It is a bit of a drive to get out here, but it is worth it for the community we serve. The roads can be a bit bumpy after the monsoon, but we manage. We are not a big hospital chain. We are just a foundation trying to make health stuff a bit easier for the people in the 412216 area. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait to send emails. That is just life in a rural pocket of Maharashtra. We sit together for lunch and talk about the families we have visited. It is very personal work. We know most people by their first names. We do not use a lot of medical jargon because we want people to understand us. It is just about being there for our neighbors when they are not feeling their best. It is a quiet life but we like it.
