International Creative Art Center

You can find us at A2/381 in the Shah & Nahar Indl. Estate. This is located inside the Dhanraj Mill Compound over in Lower Parel West. It is an old industrial area, so the buildings have that sturdy and lived-in feel to them. The International Creative Art Center is tucked away inside one of these units. Lower Parel is almost always jam-packed with cars and people, especially near the old mills that have been turned into offices. Our space isn't flashy at all. It is an industrial estate after all. The hallways are long and look the same, so you really have to keep an eye on the unit numbers. Inside, we have enough room to set up our art projects. It feels like a real workshop. There is no corporate lobby or fancy coffee machine here. We usually just have our tea and get to work. The walls are probably scuffed from moving frames and crates around. It is the kind of place where you don't mind getting your hands a little dirty. We have stayed at this location because it is central, even if the traffic can be a nightmare sometimes. Being in the Dhanraj Mill Compound gives us a bit of that old Mumbai character. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor. We just want a functional space for the International Creative Art Center. It works for us and has been our home for years.
