Ingram Micro India Foundation

We are based in Vikhroli West, specifically at Empire Plaza on LBS Marg. Our office for Ingram Micro India Foundation is up on the 5th floor, M1. It is quite a busy building with people coming and going. LBS Marg is always packed with traffic, so we hear the horns honking all day long. This part of Mumbai, near Hariyali village, is always moving. We have been here for some time now. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we get things done. We focus on foundation work, which mostly means a lot of coordination and planning on the phone. We have desks and computers like everyone else. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles in the summer heat, but we manage. There are a lot of other businesses in this plaza, so the elevators are always full during lunch. We try to keep things simple. We do not have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just write down what we are doing and try to stay organized. It is a lot of data entry and talking to partners. Most of us take the train to Vikhroli station and then a rickshaw to get here. It is a standard routine. We are not trying to be anything we aren't. We just show up, do the work, and go home. Some days are busier than others, especially when big projects are running. (249 words)
