Indrra Singh

I’ve got this small room, number 5/313, on Khade Marg. It’s right off Dr. A.B. Road, which is always a mess with traffic and people rushing around. My name is Indrra Singh and this is where I handle all my business. It’s not a big space, just enough for me and a couple of chairs for visitors. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, to be honest. I’ve lived and worked around this area for a long time. You get to know the street vendors and the guys at the tea stall pretty well. I usually spend most of my day here checking files and making phone calls. The building is old, so the pipes sometimes make funny noises when someone upstairs uses the water. It doesn't bother me much anymore. I have a small window that lets in a bit of breeze, which is nice when it’s hot outside. Sometimes the kids from the neighborhood play outside on the stairs and it gets a bit noisy. I just keep my door open to let some air in. It’s a very simple setup. I don’t believe in having a lot of fancy things I don't need. Just a desk, my phone, and some notebooks to keep track of things. People know they can find me here most days. It’s just how I like to run things. It’s practical and it works for me. I’ve been in this room for years now and it’s become my second home.
