Impact On The Ground Foundation

You can find us in the Hiranandani Gardens area of Powai. We are in the Eldora Apartments, B Wing, flat 1503. It’s a tall building, so we get a decent breeze up there. Impact On The Ground Foundation is a small outfit. We don’t have a giant headquarters with a lobby. It’s just an apartment we’ve converted into a workspace. It works for us because we can stay focused. Powai is a busy spot, especially with all the tech companies nearby, but our corner is relatively quiet. We spend our time working on projects and keeping the paperwork in order. There are three or four of us here most days. We don't really do the whole corporate dress code thing. We just wear what’s comfortable and get to work. The kitchen area is where we usually talk about what needs to be done next. We don’t have any fancy mission statements on the walls. We just have a list of tasks on a whiteboard. It’s a very direct way of doing things. Sometimes we stay late when a project is finishing up. It’s just the way it goes. We’re glad to be in this part of Mumbai. It’s a good community with plenty of places to grab food when we get tired of our desks. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing, day in and day out, without making a fuss about it.
