Immpression Art & Gallery

Immpression Art & Gallery is located at Byculla Shivaji Park 576. It is a quiet space compared to the busy streets you find outside. We have been here for a while, putting things on the walls and keeping the floor swept. This isn't a massive museum or anything like that, just a local spot for people to look at different pieces. A lot of time is spent arranging the displays and making sure the lighting is okay. Sometimes the roof leaks a little when the rain is heavy, so we have to move things around. Big words aren't used to talk about what is on display. If you like a piece, you like it, and that is all there is to it. Many of the people who live near Shivaji Park are known to us, and they often stop in just to say hello or see if anything new has come in. It is a small operation, usually just one or two of us here at a time. We handle the framing and the dusting and everything else ourselves. Being at number 576 gives us a nice little corner of the neighborhood. A big budget for fancy signs or websites doesn't exist for us. We just open the doors in the morning and wait to see who comes through. It is a simple way to spend the day, surrounded by things we appreciate.
