You can find us at Devlekar Chawl, specifically at number 17/04. We are located right on the Kajupada Link Road in Jogeshwari West. It is a very lively part of Mumbai, mostly because there are people everywhere at all hours. The chawl life is different from the big buildings you see in the distance. Here, everyone knows everyone else’s business, which can be a bit much, but it also means there is always someone around to help if you need a hand. Our space is small and it gets a bit noisy during the day because of the traffic on the Link Road. We have a couple of tables and some plastic chairs, nothing fancy at all. We started this because we saw things in our own neighborhood that needed attention. It wasn't some big plan hatched in a boardroom. It was just a few of us sitting around and talking. We deal with whatever comes through the door. Some days are slow and we just drink tea and talk to the locals. Other days are completely packed and we hardly have time to breathe. We don't have a website with glossy photos. We just do the work right here in the lanes of Jogeshwari. It is honest work and it keeps us busy. That’s enough for us.
