Hyphenbridge Foundation

We are located in C/1602 at Daffodil, which is part of the Neelkanth Garden complex. It’s over in Govandi East, right opposite the Jain Mandir. If you’ve ever been to this part of Mumbai, you know the temple is a big landmark for everyone nearby. Being on the sixteenth floor gives us a bit of a view, though we spend most of our time looking at computer screens or stacks of papers. Hyphenbridge Foundation is run out of this space. It’s more of a home-office vibe than a traditional business place. We’ve got our books, our tea kettle, and usually a few too many cables running across the floor. Govandi is an interesting place to work because it’s so mixed. You have the quiet of the garden complex but the city is right there outside the gates. We like being near the Jain Mandir because it makes giving directions very easy for anyone trying to find us. The elevator ride up can take a minute during the busy hours when everyone is coming home. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a lobby or a receptionist. It’s just a flat where we get things done. Some days it’s quiet, and other days we are all talking over each other trying to figure out a problem. It feels like a normal neighborhood life. We just happen to be running a foundation from our living room area. It’s practical and keeps us close to home.
