You can find us in Sector 6 over in CBD Belapur. It’s a bit of a trek if you aren't used to Navi Mumbai. Our place is in the C-6 building, specifically unit 19 / 3:2. We have a lot of fabric samples lying around everywhere. It’s a bit messy, to be honest, but we know where everything is. The dust from the textiles gets on everything, so we’re always wiping down our desks. People come by to look at different patterns or just to ask about prices for their homes. We don't really have a big showroom or anything, just our working space. Sometimes it gets really quiet in the afternoon when the sun is hitting the building. We usually order some snacks from the shop around the corner to keep us going. The paperwork for the Maharashtra taxes and all that takes up a lot of our time too. It's just a regular small business vibe here. We talk to suppliers and try to make sure the orders go out on time, even when the transport guys are late. Most of us live nearby, so we don't have to deal with the train too much, which is a blessing. It’s just us, the machines, and piles of cloth. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and the neighbors are alright. We just keep doing what we do every day. It's a lot of work.
