If you come to Khari in Purna, you’ll find us near the Kanchaneshwar Temple. Our address is 18/2, and we are right opposite the ZP School. Parbhani is a different kind of place, much slower than the big cities. You can hear the school bells and the sounds from the temple throughout the day. It’s very local. The Hindayan Foundation is just a small part of this neighborhood in Katneshwar. 431511 is the area code. It’s a simple building. Nothing about it stands out too much, which is fine by us. We see the kids going to the ZP School every morning and afternoon. The temple brings people around too. It’s a community feeling. Our space is basic. We’ve got the bare essentials to get our work done. It gets quite hot in Parbhani, so the stone walls of the old style buildings help a bit. We don’t have air conditioning or anything like that. Just the fan and the open door. People from the village walk past and say hello. It’s not a corporate environment at all. It’s just a room where we keep our things and meet whoever needs to see us. 18/2 Khari is where we stay. It’s easy to give directions because everyone knows the temple and the school. That’s how things work here in Purna. We are just a few people working out of a small room. It’s enough for us to keep things running.
