Himal Electronics

Himal Electronics is located at No. 17 Proctor Road, which is right across from the Grant Hotel in Grant Road East. If you know this area, you know it is one of the busiest spots in the city. There are always people walking by and cars honking their horns. Our shop is filled with all kinds of electronics and parts. We have been here for quite a while, and the place has a bit of an old-fashioned feel to it. We don't have those bright neon signs or high-tech displays. It’s just shelves and counters piled high with components. People come in looking for things they can’t find anywhere else, like a specific fuse or a tiny wire for an old radio. We spend our time testing things and helping folks figure out what’s wrong with their gadgets. It’s a lot of hands-on work and we enjoy it. We aren't trying to be a big chain store. We are just a local spot where you can get your electronics sorted out. Being opposite the Grant Hotel means we get a lot of travelers stopping in too. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know our way around a circuit board. We don't use any fancy language to talk about our shop. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the first customer to walk through the door.
