Gope Khilnani

I work out of B4 in the Satyam Shopping Centre, which is located on Oghadbhai Lane. My office is on the first floor. The shopping centre is an older building, but it’s always full of life. There are all kinds of shops on the ground floor, so there’s a constant stream of people coming and going. I’ve been in this spot for a long time now. The lane outside is usually crowded with delivery bikes and people running errands. It’s not the most modern office in the world, but it has everything I need. I have my desk, a few cupboards for files, and some chairs for whoever stops by. Being on the first floor means I don’t get all the street noise, but I can still hear the general hum of the market. I’ve lived in this city forever, and I’ve seen this shopping centre change over the years as different businesses come and go. I mostly handle my own work without any fuss. People know where to find me if they need something. Sometimes the lights in the corridor flicker a bit, but that’s just the charm of an older building. I don't go for big advertisements or anything like that. Word of mouth has always been enough for me. It’s a practical place for practical work, and I’m happy with how things are here. It's just a normal office in a normal building.
