Good Wave Foundation

We are based at 5/A, Basant Mahal on Nana Phadnavis Road. That is over in Wadala East. It’s an old building, the kind with thick walls and high ceilings. We’ve been here for a long time. The foundation doesn’t have a lot of bells and whistles. We have a few rooms where we keep our things and meet up. It is a humble setup. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. Most of our work happens right here in Wadala. We know the people on the street and the shopkeepers nearby. It is a friendly part of Mumbai. We don't have a big marketing budget. We just do what we can with what we have. Our team is small, mostly just locals who care about the area. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe ourselves. We are just a group of people trying to make things a little better. Some days it is just about organizing things and other days we are out and about. We like the pace here in Wadala East. It is not as frantic as other parts of the city. We have our routine and we stick to it. If you walk by Basant Mahal, you might see us coming and going. It’s just a normal part of our lives. We enjoy the quiet afternoons when the sun hits the old windows just right.
