Our office is over in the A Wing of the Malad Industrial Estate on Ramchandra Lane. If you know the Kanchpada area, you know it gets pretty busy with all the trucks and people moving around. We are up on the fifth floor. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens more than we’d like. We started the Goldmoney Foundation because we saw how things were going in the local neighborhood and thought we could chip in. It’s mostly just a desk, a few chairs, and a lot of folders. We spend most of our time talking to people from the nearby blocks. There’s always someone needing something, whether it’s advice on a small problem or just a bit of support getting through the week. We don't do anything flashy. It's just honest work. Sometimes the noise from the industrial units downstairs gets a bit loud, but you get used to it. We keep the door open most of the day. People drift in and out. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just trying to make things a little easier for the folks around Malad. It gets humid in the afternoons, so we keep the fans running high. We’ve lived and worked in this part of Mumbai for years, so we understand how hard people work here. Just trying to do our part and keep things moving forward.
