If you come looking for us, we’re at 201, Nikita Apt, right on Juhu Tara Road. It’s a busy stretch, especially with Deepak Metal Mart nearby. The office is inside an apartment building, which makes it feel less like a workplace and more like a home. You can often smell the salt from the Juhu beach when the wind blows the right way. Inside Giridhar Art International, there’s always something being moved or wrapped up. We deal with a lot of pieces that need careful handling, so you’ll see plenty of bubble wrap and cardboard boxes lying around. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. The light in the afternoon is quite nice through the windows. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking emails to coordinate things. It’s a bit of a mix of art and logistics, which can get complicated. We aren’t really the type to wear suits or have formal meetings. Most of our discussions happen over a cup of coffee in the small kitchen area. The traffic on Juhu Tara Road is always a topic of conversation because it affects when things can be picked up or dropped off. We just take things as they come and try to keep up with the pace of the city. It’s a bit cramped sometimes with all the inventory, but we make it work somehow. We're just regular people doing our best every day.
