Geeta Fine Arts

We've been at the Makwana Bldg Compound for a good number of years now. It's right on Senapati Bapat Marg, just across from the Kamgar Stadium in Dadar West. You might miss the entrance if you’re not looking closely, it’s a bit tucked away. Geeta Fine Arts is basically just us doing what we do every day. The workshop gets pretty dusty with all the materials lying around, but that’s how it is. Most mornings start with moving things out of the way just to make space for the new stuff coming in. We handle a lot of different pieces, some big and some small. Dadar is always crowded, so getting things delivered can be a bit of a headache sometimes. The traffic on the main road never really stops. We don’t have fancy displays or anything like that. It’s mostly just us working through orders and chatting with whoever drops by. People usually find us because someone told them we were here. We keep the doors open and try to stay on top of the work, even when it piles up. It’s a busy spot, and the noise from the stadium crowd carries over when there’s a game on. We just get on with it, honestly. It’s not a big corporate setup, just a local place where we spend most of our daylight hours. If you’re around the compound, you’ll probably see us moving frames or checking over some prints. That’s our life here.
