Gayatri Arts

You can find Gayatri Arts at 501, A N House, right across from the Shopper Stop on Linking Road. Bandra West is always full of energy, and being on Linking Road means there is never a dull moment outside our windows. We have been here for a while now, working away in our space. It’s a bit of a walk up, but once you’re in room 501, it’s a different world. We have supplies all over the place and projects in various stages of being finished. It’s not the most organized office you’ll ever see, but that’s just how we work. Being right in the middle of such a busy shopping area is helpful, though sometimes it’s hard to find parking if you’re visiting. We spend most of our time actually making things and figuring out designs. It’s practical work, often with paint or ink on our hands by the end of the day. We don't really bother with big corporate speeches or polished brochures. We just show people what we’ve made and go from there. The light in A N House is actually pretty good for what we do, which is a nice bonus. Residents and other shop owners around here are friendly enough. We like being part of the Bandra scene, even if we are tucked away on the fifth floor. It’s just us doing our thing, day in and day out, in this little corner of the city.
