Ganesh Patki

My place is over in Matunga East, right there in Ganesh Bhawan on the second floor. It is just across from Kapol Niwas, which is a good landmark if you are looking for the building. The room number is B-548. I have been working out of this space for quite some time now. It is a quiet building for the most part, though the stairs can be a bit of a climb since it is on the second floor. I mostly handle my daily tasks here and see people who need help with specific things. It is not a retail shop where you just walk in and browse. It is more of a professional spot where I focus on the work at hand. The area around Matunga is always lively, especially with all the food places nearby, but once you get up to the office, it is much calmer. I keep my desk pretty packed with files and papers. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough space, but I know where everything is. People come by when they have appointments or if we’ve talked before. I don’t have a big staff or anything like that. It is just me usually, making sure everything gets finished on time. The building is old, like many others in this part of town, but it has a lot of character. I like being here.
