Gabuli Foundation

We are located in Krishna Palace, specifically in room 301. This is over in Gandhi Nagar, right off LBS Marg in the GH area of Mumbai. If you know LBS Marg, you know how loud and busy it can get with all the trucks and cars. Even up on the third floor, we can still hear the traffic. The office is just a simple room where we’ve set up a few desks and a couple of cabinets for our files. It’s a bit tight when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. We’ve been here for a while, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but that’s not really a priority right now. We’re more focused on the work we have to do every day. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that. When someone knocks, one of us just gets up to answer the door. We usually have a fan going all day to keep the air moving. It’s a very practical setup. We don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just come in, handle the paperwork, and try to stay on top of everything. It’s a busy life in this part of Mumbai, and we’re just another small group trying to do our part. We often eat our lunch together at our desks, sharing whatever we brought from home. Sometimes someone brings in some extra sweets to share, which is a nice break from the routine. It’s not much, but it makes the day go by a little faster.
