Freelance Photography

I’ve lived in Borivali West for a long time, and running my photography business from Meghdoot Society on Eksar Road feels right. It’s a crowded area, but that’s just Mumbai. My address is D 47 S T C, and that’s where I handle all the behind-the-scenes stuff. Photography isn’t just about clicking a button, though some people think it is. I spend hours sitting in my chair, color-correcting images and making sure the shadows look okay. I don't have a big staff or a receptionist to take calls. When the phone rings, it’s me who picks it up. Most of my work comes from people in the neighborhood who need photos for an event or maybe some commercial shots for their small shops. The Eksar Road area is always humming with energy, which helps when I need to get out of the house for a bit. I’ve seen this place change so much over the years, but my work stays pretty consistent. I focus on getting the job done without much fuss. My camera bag is always packed and ready by the door because you never know when a last-minute request might come in. It’s a lot of standing on my feet during shoots and then a lot of sitting while editing. It balances out, I guess. It’s just a regular way to make a living doing something I am okay at.
