Feathers Csi Foundation

We are located in one of the BDD Chawls in Worli, specifically Floor 2 of building number 42. If you know Mumbai, you know the chawls have a very specific feel to them. It’s a place where everyone is close together, and there’s always a lot of life in the corridors. Our space on G M Bhosale Marg isn't huge, but it’s home for the foundation. We share the building with a lot of families, so you hear the sounds of everyday life while we’re working. There’s the smell of cooking from nearby rooms and children playing outside. It’s a very grounded way to work. We don't have fancy office furniture; we use what we have and keep things functional. The walls are thick, and the ceilings are high, which helps a bit with the heat. We get our work done at a few simple tables. The 400018 area is right in the heart of the city, so we’re close to everything. It can be a bit chaotic at times, especially when the narrow lanes get crowded, but that’s just part of being in Worli. We don't put on any acts here. People walk in and out, and we just keep doing our thing. It’s a practical, no-nonsense setup for us. We just focus on the work that needs finishing each day. It’s a real part of Mumbai and we like it that way.
