Eudane Social Foundation

The Eudane Social Foundation is actually based in a flat, number 903, in the Green View building in Ulwe. We’re in Sector 17, which is a developing part of Raigarh near Panvel. It’s a regular residential building, so it feels more like a home than an office most of the time. We like it that way because it keeps things grounded and real. We work on social issues, mostly things that affect people in the immediate area here in Ulwe. It’s not about being a big charity; it’s more about being good neighbors and helping out when things get a bit tough for people. Sometimes we organize small events in the park or just help someone navigate some government paperwork they don't understand. There are only a few of us here at Plot No.171. We share the space and keep the tea pot going all afternoon. The view from the ninth floor is okay, but we are usually too busy at our desks to look out the window. People from the building sometimes stop by just to say hello. We aren't formal at all. If you come by, you’ll probably see someone sorting through piles of papers or talking on a mobile phone. We don't have any fancy brochures or expensive posters. We just talk to people and see what they actually need from us. It’s a quiet life mostly, just doing what we can from our little corner of Ulwe.
