Esavearth Mission Foundation

We are located in the Bombay Cotton Mills Estate, which is over in Kalachowky. It is an old industrial area, and we are on the 2nd floor of building 49B, specifically Plot 49/B2. It is a big, old estate with a lot of history. Our office reflects that. It has high ceilings and it can get a bit drafty when the wind blows through. We started this mission because we were worried about the environment and how things are changing. We are not experts with PhDs; we are just people who live in Mumbai and see the mess every day. We spend our time working on small ways to make the city a bit cleaner. It might be talking to local shops about waste or just organizing a small cleanup in the neighborhood. It is a lot of physical work sometimes. The office is usually messy with samples of recycled materials and old maps. We do not have a receptionist or anything. If you come by, you will probably just find one of us sitting at a desk covered in papers. We do not have any big corporate backers. It is just us trying to make a small dent in a big problem. Kalachowky is a hardworking neighborhood, and we try to match that energy. It is not a fancy life, but we feel like we are doing something that matters. If you are near the old mills, come say hello.
